by isleofman.com 23rd May 2011

After the success of last year’s event, Crossroads Caring for Carers Isle of Man will again be holding a Poker Bike Ride around the TT Course.

The ride will start at the Creg ny Baa at 10.30am on Sunday 19th June with riders stopping at several locations around the course to collect a playing card. The ride will end at the Creg where the rider with the best poker hand will win a fabulous prize donated by DMS.

Crossroads provides Carer respite to over 700 families on the island with the support of the local community. This year alone, Crossroads have provided over 52,000 hours of direct care and 52,000 hours of services to people with a care need. Show your support and enjoy a fun day out.

You can pre-register for the event by emailing mail@crossroadsiom.org or within Crossroads charity shops on Prospect Terrace and Victoria Street, Douglas or register on the day from 10am at the Creg ny Baa.
