SOFTWARE experts PDMS have continued their support of Junior Achievement Isle of Man with the recent upgrade of their website www.jaiom.im
The new website has been developed by the company’s in-house design team Digital Design and features a user friendly content management system which gives the team at Junior Achievement complete control of all the content that is published on their site.
The newly enhanced site features an events calendar and integration with PayPal to help boost the charity’s fund raising efforts. Visitors to the site can now pay for tickets to the many Junior Achievement events online or make a donation directly to Junior Achievement simply by clicking the “Donate Online” button.
Junior Achievement Isle of Man chief executive Sue Cook said, “Our website is very much the shop window of all that we do, and as such must not only perform a range of functions in a clear and informative way but also engage with different audiences and age groups, including students, teachers, volunteers and the general public.
“The recent upgrades implemented by the team at PDMS have more than amply fulfilled our design brief and created a user-friendly easy-to-access transactional site that is a vital resource in our work to help prepare young people for the world of work.”
PDMS have a long standing involvement with Junior Achievement and have sponsored the Company Programme, which involves students setting up and running their own businesses, for a number of years.
Chris Gledhill, PDMS managing director, added, “The team at Junior Achievement do a fantastic job and I’m delighted that we can continue supporting the great work they do.
“We hope the new improved website will help in the charity’s efforts to raise the essential funds needed to deliver the wide range of valuable programmes in our local schools.”
