Tent was booked and will be used, vows promoter

The promoter of the cancelled Manx Telecom Bay Festival has moved to quash what he calls ‘inaccuracies’ in media reports.

A local newspaper reported some deposits had not been paid for acts and also claimed organiser Jonathan Irving had not even booked the concert tent.

Not true at all, says Mr Irving.
