FORWARD Ladies members benefitted from a talk on HR essentials from local HR expert Gail Yeowell founder of Smart HR.
Fifteen businesses ranging from finance companies to childcare providers learned the full cycle of HR, from recruiting and selecting candidates, improving staff performance and creating robust HR policies and procedures.
“It was really great to meet new people at this Forward Ladies event. I found the presentation extremely helpful in gaining further knowledge of HR and its role in organisations. Gail is an excellent facilitator, and very knowledgeable.” Lorna Trevethan, Office Manager, Crowe Morgan.

Prior to establishing Smart HR last year, Gail worked as a HR professional at senior and board level for multinational companies in a broad range of industries.
