Members' interests under closer scrutiny

Politicians will have to register their interests outside the Manx parliament more than ever before.

That's after Tynwald approved a report of the court's Standards and Members' Interests Committee.

Members' interests are already available for the public to look at when requested.

Committee chairman, Speaker of the House of Keys Steve Rodan, says it's important the public has confidence its politicians are behaving honourably and with integrity:
