World Superbike rider Leon Haslam also returned for the event, as well as former rugby league star Frank Myler, boxer John H Stracey and entertainers Bernie Flint, Paul McCoy, Danny Roman and comedian Aaron James.
Winners of the tournament were the Blackburn Construction team of Andy Gregory, Johnny Palmer, Dave Brown and ex Man Utd footballer Andy Ritchie with 87 points.
Runners up were the Haldane Fisher team with players John Belcher, Andy Campbell, Allyn Lang and World Superbike rider Leon Haslam, a regular supporter of the Wooden Spoon golf day who showed lots of skill on the golf course.
The day concluded with a gala dinner at the Palace Hotel this evening hosted by long time supporter of Isle of Man charity golf events - Stan Boardman. Top officials from the Wooden Spoon organisation also attended the day, taking part in the golf and attending the dinner.
