An inquest into the death of a convicted sex offender has returned a verdict of death by natural causes.
Sixty-seven year-old James Richard Fargher, who was serving a four year prison sentence for seven indecent assaults, died from respiratory failure in Noble's Hospital last August.
When the inquest re-convened this morning, it heard statements from Prison Governor Alison Gomme, Deputy Prison Governor Colin Ring, Bernice Ashworth, the lead nurse at IOM Prison and Dr Keith Wilkinson a consultant anaesthetist at Nobles.
The jury were given only one possible outcome to consider.
