Road repairs continue ahead of TT

The Island's roads will be ready for TT 2011, according to Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne.

Workers in his department have been working around the clock to repair damage caused by two spells of snow and frost earlier this year.

Already, the department says it's fixed 5,000 potholes around the Island, but Mr Gawne acknowledges there is still plenty of work to be done.

He is appealing for motorists to be patient, although he says he understands some people may be frustrated by ongoing roadworks:
