Conor Cummins was the fastest Isle of Man rider in qualifying practice for the Superbikes at the North West 200 in Northern Ireland last night (Tuesday).
Conditions were less than perfect but, at his first major road racing event since suffering multiple injuries at TT 2010, Connor came in 16th at 112.03mph.
He led home Gavin Hunt (17th fastest), Dan Kneen (19th) and Si Fulton (20th).
The fastest rider in the class on the night was Alistair Seely, at 119.09mph.
In the Supersport, Conor was the fastest local again, recording the eleventh best time of 107.430mph on his Kawasaki. Si Fulton was 14th, but Dan Kneen and Gavin Hunt failed to qualify.
Fastest was Cameron Donald on his Wilson Craig racing Honda, at 114.295mph.
In the Superstock, the leading Manxie was Gavin Hunt on his BMW at 114.134mph, with Conor second.
Alistair Seely was the best in that class, at 118.42mph.
