A 27 YEAR old man will appear in court today charged with producing class A controlled drugs to the Island.
The man who is from Douglas but has not been named will be in court at 10am.
He was arrested and charged with a number of drug related offences following a seizure of cocaine with an Isle of Man street value of around £6,000.
Detective Sergeant Darren Richards from the pro-active team said: "The police will make every effort to reduce the supply of controlled drugs to the Island at every level, to ensure the community is kept safe from criminals seeking to profit from crimes such as this."
Charges against the man also include an offence of money laundering under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
