Black and Backley aim to inspire

by isleofman.com 16th May 2011

Former world champion athletes and Olympians Roger Black and Steve Backley are on the Island to give a motivational talk this evening (Monday).

The event, at the Gaiety Theatre, will see the athletics legends explain what inspires sporting success and how that can be translated to everyday life and business situations.

Roger Black is acting as an ambassador for Scottish Widows, which is supporting the talk, in the run-up to the 2012 Olympics in London.

He has also entered the Scottish Widows Parish Walk for the second year running.

The starts at 6pm and is free and open to all.
