Christian Aid helps African families

Fundraisers in the Isle of Man will be out collecting door-to-door for projects in Malawi throughout Christian Aid Week, which begins today (Monday).

The money will go towards helping families in the African country improve farming methods and grow more food.

Christian Aid is hoping to raise more than ?36,000 locally during the campaign, and Tynwald's Overseas Aid Committee says it will match whatever figure is achieved.
