A bid to see the chief minister of the Isle of Man directly elected by the public will resume tomorrow (Tuesday).
South Douglas MHK Bill Malarkey is continuing his campaign to allow voters to choose who takes the top job in the Manx government.
He is bringing a motion to Tynwald asking for a referendum be held on the issue.
It would also cover the election of the Legislative Council.
Mr Malarkey hopes the vote for the chief minister could be held on September 29, the same day the Island goes to the polls for the general election.
