There was double joy for Valkyrs A on Saturday as they clinched a cup double.

A week after defeating Bacchas A to win the Wi Manx Mixed Cup, they defeated the same opponents to win the Wi Manx Men’s Cup.

Neil Jacobs and Gareth Morris were on target in a fine 3-2 success.

Jamie Brown scored at the end of each half for battling Bacchas but Valkyrs held on for a deserved victory.

Vikings A secured a league and cup double by winning the Wi Manx Women’s Cup.

A 5-0 thrashing of Castletown A was secured by a Kim Carney hat-trick and goals from Dani Coombes and Karen Faragher.

Bacchas C sealed the Wi Manx Men’s Plate after coming back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Castletown B and win on penalty flicks.

Mark Castle and Will Higgins fired Town into a 2-0 interval lead but second half goals from Doug Ross and Dan Murtagh hauled Bacchas level and they triumphed 4-2 on penalty flicks.

Castletown C have won the Wi Manx Women’s Plate.

Lesley Witt and Leanne McNaught scored the goals as Town won the silverware with a 2-1 victory over Harlequins.
