AFTER missing last month’s sitting of Tynwald through illness, Onchan MHK Peter Karran is back in business with a bang next week when he will ask more than half of the questions on the Question Paper.
Mr Karran will ask 14 out of the 27 questions tabled for answer on Tuesday on a wide range of subjects, varying from the Steam Packet Company and Customs & Excise to advertising banners and unemployment.
The Liberal Vannin Party leader consistently asks more questions than all other MHKs put together, but is often rebuked for developing his questions into a “mini debate”.
President of Tynwald Noel Cringle will be busier than ever next week in controlling the time set aside for the Question Paper on Tuesday morning.
