Funeral of Matt Cranch in Douglas

The funeral of a local daredevil who died during a human cannonball stunt is taking place this morning (Friday).

Twenty-four year-old Matt Cranch was killed when his safety net failed at a performance in Kent on Easter Monday.

He worked for Scott May's Daredevil Stunt Shows and performed under the stage name 'Matt the Manx Crank'.

The funeral is at Douglas Crematorium at 11.30am.
