THE rumour mill surrounding this year’s Manx Telecom Bay Festival has gone into overdrive tonight – with many locals claiming it has been cancelled.

People have taken to Facebook, Twitter and local forums with some claiming that they have been told to “hold off” in purchasing tickets for the three day festival in June. 

isleofman.com has contacted the festival organisers and the official ticket seller HMV Tickets for comment but has received no response so far. 

Speculation around the festival has been circulating for some time especially after a number of acts from the X-Factor were pulled from the line up.
