The regeneration of Ramsey took a step forward today (Thursday) as the first sod was cut at the replacement for the Grand Island Hotel.
Isle of Man-based entrepreneur Trevor Hemmings, the brains behind the development, told Beth Espey he is hoping to have the new hotel up and running next year (play extended audio file):
