TT3D heading for Oz

by isleofman.com 12th May 2011

TT3D: Closer to the Edge is going down under, following a deal with an Australian distributor.

Icon Australia has bought the theatrical distribution rights for the movie in Australia and New Zealand and says it has plans to release it in October.

The firm has signed the deal ahead of the Cannes film festival, where CinemaNX hopes to make more international sales.

The documentary about the TT is the United Kingdom's highest weekend box office documentary opener since Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11.

This weekend the film will be shown on an extra 90 screens in the United Kingdom, bringing it to a total of 130.
