Castletown goes to the polls today (Thursday).
Artist and teacher Rosemary Robinson and retired coastguard and mariner Peter Hill-Heaton are bidding for the vacant seat on the board of the town's commissioners.
It arose after former chairman Richard Ronan stood down in February.
The polling stations, at Castletown Civic Centre on Farrant's Way and in the Legion Hall at Janet's Corner, are open from 8am until 8pm.
