'SNP win could impact on Island'

The Isle of Man could face challenges and opportunities as a result of the Scottish Nationalist Party's overall victory in last week's elections for the devolved parliament.

That's the view of Minister for Economic Development Allan Bell, who has been weighing up some possible scenarios.

He says the Island could find itself with a major new competitor for business if the Scottish Parliament was granted powers to raise corporate tax, but it could also benefit from a protracted period of uncertainty:
