Director in the dark over new services

Director Ann Reynolds says she hasn't been approached by a company which says it wants to launch services from Ronaldsway Airport next year.

Ellan Vannin Airways says it plans to start operations in 2012 and is in the process of leasing aircraft for the purpose.

Ms Reynolds says so far nobody from the company has asked her about facilities such as check-in desks, baggage handling and security passes.

She says that's unusual in an industry which usually plans very carefully:
