Simon Campbell shortlisted for blues award

ISLE of Man-based musician Simon Campbell is one of the final six nominees in the best male vocalist category at the British Blues Awards.

 

In addition, Steve Rowe, of Simon's band the Very Very Bad Men, appears in the best bass player category.

 

They are through to the second round of voting so anyone who supported Simon and Steve in round one will need to vote again to support them in the second round.

 

The winner of each category will be announced at the Newark Blues Festival launch night on Sunday, September 11.
