Stallholders urged to book places for Queenie Festival

by isleofman.com 8th May 2011

QUEENIE Festival organisers are appealing for local food producers and craftspeople to take part in this year's celebration of the sea.

Stallholders are being invited to secure their place in the Food Producers' Village, which is being sponsored by Shoprite, and the Food Court.

The Food Court will give local restaurants the opportunity to demonstrate a signature fish dish for the crowds.

As in previous years artists and craftspeople are invited to take stalls, along with local clubs, charities and community organisations.

The marketplace, along with other elements of the festival, is concentrated in the Alfred Pier and Lime Street areas of Port St Mary.

The Queenie Festival will take place between July 1 and July 3. For more information and an application form contact Tim Croft on 01624 834494 or 07624 495930.
