Governor looks back at two extraordinary events

The Isle of Man's lieutenant governor has been reflecting on what it was like to be a guest at last week's Royal Wedding.

Adam Wood was invited to the service at Westminster Abbey, six days ago (April 29).

He says it was an 'extraordinary, uplifting occasion' which showed a real optimism for the future of the monarchy.

Mr Wood says it was a chance to meet and speak with fellow governors from other Crown dependencies, and even making his way home after the wedding was a remarkable experience (first part of audio file):
