'Legal approach to breastfeeding is inappropriate'

A Christian campaigner believes there is no great public clamour for legislation endorsing breastfeeding in public.

Last month, laws to protect breastfeeding mothers received their second and third readings in the House of Keys, and next week they begin their passage through the Legislative Council.

Peter Murcott says most businesses have no problem allowing breastfeeding on their premises, but shouldn't face the prospect of being sued for damages if they don't:
