Disappointed X-Factor fans can apply for a refund say organisers

by isleofman.com 5th May 2011

ANYONE left disappointed by the news that three X-Factor acts have been pulled from this year's Bay Festival line up can apply for a refund.

Yesterday isleofman.com confirmed that the top three acts from the latest series - One Direction, Cher Lloyd and Rebecca Ferguson - would no longer be performing on Sunday, June 19.

The acts were supposed to be playing as part of the X-Factor v Britain's Got Talent line up.

A spokesperson for the Manx Telecom Bay Festival said: "We hope that those who have bought tickets will still wish to attend the Sunday afternoon show to see such fantastic artists as Shayne Ward and Peter Andre, who will be playing in the Isle of Man for the first time.

"Those seeking a refund should contact HMV."

isleofman.com has contacted HMV Tickets - who are selling tickets for the festival - who said that they would give refunds to people who had bought tickets for the Sunday show if required.

For more information telephone 08432 210100.
