by isleofman.com 5th May 2011

POLICE are investigating a number of reports of criminal damage in Port St Mary.

A number of cars, parked in the Lhargan area and on the High Street, were scratched overnight on Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30.

There were also reports of someone forcing doors to outbuildings at the gas plant and the commissioners building.

Police have also said that it appears a person has climbed onto a corrugated roof in the Hudson’s Yard area before falling through and then forcing a door in order to escape.

Anyone with information or who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area is asked to contact Port Erin Police Station on 01624 832222 or phone Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
