TWO figures from the Island's financial and legal sectors have been appointed non-executive directors of the CMI group of companies.
Lillian Boyle began her career as an in-house lawyer, becoming company secretary and eventually managing director of Scottish Provident International in the Isle of Man.
She is president of the Isle of Man branch of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, a member of the UK FRC (Financial Reporting Council) Professional Oversight Board and holds a number of other non-executive positions.
Peter Clucas is a director of Cains, who he joined in 1990, and he manages the litigation department.
He is a Notary Public, a member of the International Compliance Association and also a non-practising English solicitor.
CMI managing director Dean Waddingham said: "I am pleased to welcome Lillian and Peter to our boards.
"Their wealth of local experience combined with their extensive knowledge of international jurisdictions will serve to strengthen our Isle of Man representation within Scottish Widows.
"Their appointments also reaffirm our commitment to the Island since CMI became part of Scottish Widows."
