There's a new face in the local authority hot seat in Castletown, after Jerry Ludford-Brooks was appointed chairman of the board.
Mr Ludford-Brooks, of Scarlett Close, was vice-chairman for the 2010-2011 municipal year, but it's the first time he has sat at the head of the table.
He was elected at the board meeting last night (Tuesday) and succeeds Colin Leather.
Dorothy Faragher, of Malew Road, was chosen as vice-chairman.
