MICHAEL Street in Peel will close today for natural gas extension project works.

The road will remain closed until Thursday.

Andy Bainton, Manx Gas distribution manager, said: "Manx Gas apologise for these necessary works which are required for the smooth running of the conversion to natural gas. We appreciate there will be some inconvenience but will endeavour to finish the work as soon as possible."

Access will be maintained for pedestrians.
