ISLE of Man Creamery has launched milk which contains only one percent fat.

1% Fat Milk is the newest milk product to be produced by the creamery for many years.

It will contain all of the taste of semi-skimmed milk but with half the fat therefore suiting health conscious consumers.

Findlay Macleod, managing director of Isle of Man Creamery, said: "1% Fat Milk is an exciting addition to our range of milk, cheese, butter and cream.

"Based on consumer desires to have all the taste of our semi-skimmed milk, but with only half the fat, it's the first new milk to be produced by the creamery for many years."

Isle of Man Creamery will re-introduce the Manx language back onto the milk packaging and this new product will display "Bainney 1% Saill" on the label.

The 1% Fat Milk is available in a one litre polybottle which will cost one pound. It is also available for free doorstep delivery.
