RAMSEY resident Cal Crutchlow finished eighth at the MotoGP round at Estoril in Portugal yesterday (Sunday).

It was another good performance from the British rider in his debut MotoGP season.

Cal is eighth overall in the championship - one place ahead of his Tech 3 Yamaha team mate Colin Edwards.

The race was won by Honda rider Dani Pedrosa from fellow Spanish rider Jorge Lorenzo (Yamaha).

Lorenzo leads the championship by four points from Pedrosa.
