The Liberal Vannin Party has announced its latest candidate for the House of Keys general election in September.
Kate Beecroft will stand in South Douglas, having missed out to sitting member Martyn Quayle in Middle, five years ago.
Mrs Beecroft also contested last year's by-election in East Douglas, in which she again finished second.
She is a member of Braddan Commissioners and, with her husband, owns and runs a Manx trading company.
The general election is on Thursday, September 29.
Mrs Beecroft is the second person to formally notify Manx Radio of her intention to stand in South Douglas, the other being long-serving member David Cretney.
The other sitting member in the constituency, Bill Malarkey, was the LVP's candidate in 2006, but resigned from the party in 2008.
