Three drop-in sessions for would-be carers

The Isle of Man's fostering service is holding a series of open days from next week, to find more would-be foster parents.

Head of the service Fiona Lassen says the organisation is always happy to hear from anybody who would be interested in getting involved.

Fostering First is hosting drop-in sessions for people to meet existing carers and members of staff, at Southlands in Port St Mary on May 10, Peel's Philip Christian Centre on May 12 and the Children's Centre in Woodbourne Road, Douglas on May 17.

Ms Lassen says finding people who can open their homes to children is an ongoing process:
