Dawn Chorus

by isleofman.com 30th April 2011

If you’re an early bird you’re invited to visit the Wildlife Park in Ballaugh tomorrow (Sunday).

The annual dawn chorus will see participants escorted on a walk through the park, around the nature trail and out into Ballaugh Curragh, listening to the many birds making up the dawn chorus.

The guide will be Chris Sharpe of Manx Birdlife, who will identify the different birds from their song.

If you want to take part, you should meet at the park’s entrance at 5am.

The Wildlife Park cafe will also open early to allow participants to enjoy a hot breakfast.
