Road in Peel to close while gas work takes place

by isleofman.com 29th April 2011

WORK on the natural gas extension project will see the closure of Michael Street, Peel, from Tuesday (May 3) until Thursday.

Manx Gas distribution manager Andy Bainton said: "Manx Gas apologise for these necessary works which are required for the smooth running of the conversion to natural gas.

"We appreciate there will be some inconvenience but we will endeavour to finish the work as soon as possible."

The road closure is for vehicular traffic – not pedestrians - and has been agreed with the Department of Infrastructure.
