A 54-year-old Douglas motorcyclist was taken to Noble's Hospital after his black Yamaha FZ6 left the road at the Devil's Elbow, Peel, on Easter Monday.
The man ended up at the bottom of the ravine.
Station Officer Mark Christian of the Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service, said: "Crews from Kirk Michael and Douglas fire stations responded to a call from the ambulance service in assisting them to recover a casualty from the bottom of the ravine at Devil's Elbow following a single motorcycle road traffic collision.
"The casualty was removed from the ravine back up to the roadway using a specialist stretcher before being transferred to Noble's via ambulance."
The incident happened at 1.35pm and was one of three incidents that occurred within an hour and a half of each other.

Earlier that day a car collided with a bike in the area of the Hawthorn Pub in Greeba, also on the main Douglas to Peel road.
