by isleofman.com 26th April 2011

A diver was taken to Noble's Hospital on Sunday, after she got into difficulties.

The alarm was raised at 4pm, and Port St Mary lifeboat stood ready to assist the 50-year-old, who had been diving off Sugarloaf Rock.

She was brought back to shore by a diving boat and transferred to an ambulance, which took her to hospital.

The woman's condition is unknown.
