Enjoy Easter - and the wonderful "Manx" weather

by isleofman.com 23rd April 2011

AFTER a day’s wet and gloomy weather, the rest of the Easter weekend is set to return to the beautiful sunshine we have enjoyed on the Isle of Man for several days.

The rain this morning and this afternoon was disappointing - but not unexpected - and by this evening the Isle of Man was bathed in warm sunshine and it could last right through the Easter holiday.

Tomorrow (Sunday) is forecast by the Met Office at Ronaldsway to be “fair” with the possibility of scattered outbreaks of rain or showers later. Temperatures are forecast at a maximum of only 13C but today’s was forecast at 12C and look what happened by the end of the day - it was glorious!

But, as always, “Manx” weather has to be taken into account, so we might face all sorts. Be positive - get the barbecue out and enjoy Easter Sunday and Monday - two of the most relaxing and enjoyable days of the year.

And take some time to really think and consider what Easter Sunday is all about. It might change your life.

And if it rains when the sausages are only half cooked, then pour a glass of wine and smile !! . . . .
