Easter on the Hill!

by isleofman.com 22nd April 2011

Peel plays host to a re-enactment with a difference today (Easter Saturday) – and it’s nothing to do with Vikings or Celts.

A group of churchgoers will recreate the story of Easter at Peel Castle starting at 4.30pm, featuring a huge cast and live animals.

Space inside the Manx National Heritage site is limited so the advice is to arrive early and park responsibly.

One of the organisers, Judith Ley, says the idea is to bring the story to those who might not venture into church.
