Vandals steal flag and break flagpole

by isleofman.com 22nd April 2011

EDEN Park’s glag has been stolen from outside the company’s garden centre overnight on Sunday.

The flag - measuring 8ft x 2ft - disappeared between 6:00pm on Sunday 17th April and 7:00am on Monday 18th April.

The flag was attached to a flag pole and was raised to the top. Police say the offenders have pulled the flag off, snapping the top of the pole.  The flag is described as being lemon in colour with burgundy writing and a green leaf - which is the logo for Eden Park and will make the flag very distinguishable.

Police ask anyone who has witnessed this incident or if anyone has any information which could lead to the identity of the offender or offenders please ring PC 242 Dentith at Braddan Police Station on 852999.
