Police launch 'Mountain Safe' campaign

If you are thinking of dusting off your motorcycle and taking it for a lap of the TT course this weekend, make sure you ride safely.

That's the message from the Roads Policing Unit, in its latest attempt to prevent crashes on the Mountain Road.

As part of a 'Mountain Safe' campaign, there will be more officers between Ramsey and Douglas from today (Friday).

Inspector Mark Britton says the run up to TT is a dangerous time, with more bikers expected on the roads:
