Memorial trek boosts funds for cancer charity

The Manx flag has been flown on the Great Wall of China in aid of charity.

Twenty-five-year-old Katie Saxon, who grew up in the Isle of Man, has just finished a week-long trek in memory of her best friend, who died last year.

Katie says the children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent was incredibly supportive during Hannah's illness and is still looking after her family now.

So far she has raised nearly ?3,500 for the organisation, and says the trek was a fitting tribute to her friend:
