'Stunning images' in hen harrier feature

by isleofman.com 22nd April 2011

A wildlife spectacle filmed in the Isle of Man will feature on BBC television's the One Show this evening (Friday).

It comes after the programme's wildlife reporter Mike Dilger and a small film crew visited the Island to take a closer look at hen harriers.

Hen harriers tend to roost communally during the winter months and the Island's reputation as a mecca for the birds is what attracted the crew to film here.

The feature is said to include some stunning images, and the programme starts at 7pm.
