by isleofman.com 21st April 2011

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after the black plastic front to a car CD and radio was stolen from a blue Fiat Punto overnight last night (Wednesday).

It happened in Bay View Road, Port Erin and the offender or offenders rifled through other property in the car.

Nearby, on the same night, another vehicle was entered but nothing was stolen.

The police are reminding motorists to be extra vigilant in securing their vehicles and making sure that valuables are removed or out of sight.

Anyone with information about the theft should contact the Southern Neighbourhood Policing Team at Castletown or Port Erin Police Station.
