G4S Secure Solutions has been appointed the official security services provider to the 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games which will be held in the Island in September.
Under the agreement, G4S will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of integrated safety and security services to the games and will be working closely with colleagues from the police, fire service and venue management teams.
Managing director of G4S Stuart McCudden said: "As a key event in the global sporting calendar, the Commonwealth Youth Games provides another clear example of the pivotal role G4S plays at major events throughout the world."

The 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games will be held from September 7 to 13 and 1,000 athletes will take part in the games with approximately 650 officials attending.
