Closing day for energy award entries

Would-be Energy Champions on the Island have until close of business today (Thursday) to get their entries to the Department of Economic Development.

The annual awards encourage businesses and departments of the Manx government to look at their energy consumption and general working practices, and consider ways in which money could be saved.

The Energy Champion Awards will be presented at the Energy Expo 2011, at the Isle of Man College on May 6, and the department's senior manager for energy policy Ken Milne says a range of experts will be available at the event to offer advice:
