The economic development minister says he hopes to know more about the PokerStars situation later today, which he describes as a very worrying turn of events.
Speaking live on Mandate on Manx Radio earlier, Allan Bell said he would be having a meeting with the firm and the Gambling Supervision Commission later this morning.
PokerStars founder Isai Scheinberg and director Paul Tate face bank fraud and money laundering charges in the United States, some of which carry a maximum of 30 years in prison.
They were indicted on Friday, along with nine other men connected to the online gaming industry.
