A 17 YEAR old girl has died in Ramsey.
The girl, who has not been named, was found unconscious at an address in Ormley Avenue at around 9.30pm on Friday.
An ambulance crew who attended the address found the girl was unresponsive and despite their efforts she was declared dead on arrival at Noble's Hospital.
A post mortem examination, conducted by a Home Office pathologist, was carried out today (Sunday).
A police spokesperson said: "The cause of death has not been ascertained at this time and further forensic testing of samples will be required before the cause of death can be established with certainty. The Coroner of Inquests has been notified of the death."
A 35 year old man, who was present at the address, was arrested and has been interviewed by police over the weekend. He has been released on bail.
